HOW TOTORIAL #1: Media Technology for those Interested

Now online: #1 of the Series: HOW TOTORIAL.

Digital concepts are, now especially but also before the doors had to remain closed, highly demanded in the theatre cosmos: a medium that is highly affected by the pandemic. How can theatrical formats be presented under the current circumstances? But also: How does the medium have to develop to fit the evolving attention economy? How can technology and the explicitly analogue go hand in hand?

With its series “HOW TOTORIAL” the Academy for Theatre and Digitality wants to provide basic tools presented in short tutorials for people working at the theatre as well as the interested public to autonomously develop and implement their digital formats and to further educate themselves concerning media technology related to theatre.

The first tutorial “Media Technology for those Interested” is an overview of free or low-costly soft- and hardware to create digital output for theatre use.
