Agnetha Jaunich (sie/ihr or they/them) works as a dancer, performer, choreographer and dance mediator. After studying at the Institute for Performative Arts in the interdisciplinary program at the University of Fine Arts in Braunschweig, she worked with many renowned artists and worked for various theaters, such as the dance department of the Staatstheater Kassel under the direction of Johannes Wieland, the New Butoh and Space Dance Centre Tokyo in Japan and the Theaterlabor Bielefeld. She has worked as a dance mediator for the Staatstheater Braunschweig, the Stadttheater Bremerhaven, the Freedom Theatre Jenin in Palestine and the Staatstheater Kassel, among others. Agnetha's first own choreographic work as a freelance artist was created in 2012, since then her work has been shown at many renowned festivals - such as the Light and Sound Art Night in the artists' village of Schöppingen, the MADE Festival Hessen and the NEXT LEVEL FESTIVAL. Since 2024, in addition to her work as a freelance performer and dancer, Agnetha has been active across institutions at the Academy for Theater and Digitality and the Theater im Depot Dortmund as a mentor for up-and-coming artists in the field of performance and digitality.
