Tim Pauli studied computer science at the Free University of Berlin and electronic composition at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. Since 2020 he has been working as a freelance media artist, computer musician, programmer and sound engineer in various music, performance, dance and theatre productions.
He supports the Academy on various digital topics like game engines, spatial audio, algorithmic participation and machine learning since 2024.
