After earning his vocational diploma (with a focus on technology), Mattis Kemper completed a one-year internship in event technology at the Bad Sassendorf Day and Congress Center. He then began his apprenticeship as an event technology specialist at the Dortmund Theater in 2020, which he successfully completed in 2023. His fascination with his work lies in the field of lighting, which he showcased in his final project, “Die Akademie landet,” at the Academy for Theater and Digitality. He has been part of our team since July 2023 and has served as Technical Director since January 2026.
