Simon Scott

Simon Scott is an experienced media producer and art director with in-depth knowledge of media technology, art, and the design of immersive spatial experiences. After completing his degree in Creative Media in Frankfurt and spending two semesters abroad in Zurich, he successfully led project teams and collaborated with leading agencies to manage numerous well-known brands across various areas of media production. In recent years, his focus has been heavily on collaborating with museums. Here, he has developed and implemented numerous projects that offer visitors new, multimedia-based experiential worlds.

Since November 2024, Simon Scott has served as Operations Director on the Academy’s team, where he is particularly dedicated to securing and managing grants and is responsible for partnerships and contracts for residencies. With his expertise in organization and finance, he contributes both creatively and strategically to day-to-day processes, works closely with the Academy’s team and colleagues at Theater Dortmund, and thus contributes to the institution’s successful development.
