Digital transformation in culture

On behalf of the Conference of Culture Ministers (Kultur-MK), a study entitled "Recommendations for action by the federal states on digitality and digital transformation in the cultural sector and cultural infrastructure"  was commissioned and published. "Digitality and digital transformation in the cultural sector and cultural infrastructure" was commissioned and published.

It is based on a survey of the representatives of the federal states from the ministries for art and/or culture and, on the other hand, on partially standardized interviews with experts from different areas and locations, different areas and locations. Digitalization also affects the bureaucratic part of the arts and culture sector in its day-to-day operations.

The results of the study are primarily aimed at the federal states, but also at cultural institutions and various stakeholders such as associations, academia and civil society. Municipalities are also addressed as sponsors of institutions and generally as promoters of culture.
