On September 19, 2024, the 12th Ruhr Cultural Conference took place at the Lichtburg in Essen under the motto “Muse or Monster? -Artificial Intelligence in Art and Culture”. The Academy for Theater and Digitality not only presented itself as a unique and stimulating institution in the cultural landscape, but also selected fellow projects that focused on the artistic use of AI tools.

The cultural conference is organized annually by the RVR (Regionalverbund Ruhr).
