A total of 11 pioneers began their training at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts and the Academy for Theatre and Digitality yesterday. In seminars on tracking, motion capturing, robotics and digital realities, they are learning how to develop the theatre of tomorrow. With the new Master's degree course in ‘Theatre and Digitality’, the Academy is deepening its focus in the field of training and further education and setting new standards for the future of theatre.
The Master's degree course in ‘Theatre and Digitality’ (MA THEAD) is a cooperation between Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Department of Design, Department of Computer Science) and the Academy for Theatre and Digitality to train students between digital technologies and narratives in analogue, virtual and hybrid spaces. The courses will take place in the respective faculties and the Academy for Theatre and Digitality.
