Unreal Conditionals

In the midst of escalating crises, there is a growing fear that the imagined wholeness of the world is falling apart. But what ideas have led to the world being understood as a “whole” in the first place? “Unreal Conditionals” invites the audience into a dream-like state in which surreal digital worlds interweave with textile landscapes, stage magic, phantom power and robotic creatures to create an ever-changing choreography. Worlds that were considered impossible or unreal emerge from the smouldering embers of the old. By challenging the existing imperial frameworks, new metaphors for the artificial and the intelligent unfold. This is not an escape from reality, but a temporary derailment to raise the question of what unreality is actually being lived in all the time.
