Nico Parisius works in theatre both, on stage and in front of a computer. As a puppeteer and creative coder he is interested in the prospects of digital technologies in theatre.
After his studies at “Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts” department for puppetry he was part of the ensemble of the puppet Theater Halle until 2020. In that time he was part of different international collaborations, for example with the “Handspring Puppet Company” and Robyn Orlin or the “Marc Sinan Company”. In his work he combines his experience as a performer with his interest in programming, animation and real-time video. He is part of the virtual reality collective PRESS [ST]ART.
