Media artist, director and composer Christoph Wirth and his team explore questions of collective behavioural patterns and their influence on the future. In ‘QUEUE’, the audience can enter an interactive, audiovisual environment in virtual reality and change it through their movement patterns and decisions. The result is an immersive, group-dynamic installation with game and radio play elements, inspired by Samuel Beckett's prose text ‘The Orphan’. We will keep you up to date on further developments.
The label consists of Christoph Wirth, who is responsible for project management, artistic direction, composition and text. Fehime Seven is responsible for the lead coding and Sarah Buser for the creative coding of the project. Markus Wagner is responsible for VR and interaction design. Ole Graf is responsible for technical support.
QUEUE is a cooperation between the Academy for Theatre and Digitality and the Mülheim an der Ruhr Theatre in collaboration with OBLIQUE SENSATIONS (label led by Christoph Wirth)
