The 3rd chamber concert of the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra will take place on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 7 pm at the Academy for Theater and Digitality at Speicherstraße 17, 44147 Dortmund. Under the title SCHMELZTIEGEL, Nemanja Belej, Sanjar Sapaev, MinGwan Kim and Risto Rajakorpi will perform works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Benjamin Britten and Edvard Grieg. With the 3rd chamber concert, the Academy for Theater and Digitality opens its doors to a wide audience for the first time at its new location in Speicherstraße. Tickets for the chamber concerts are only available in advance at the box office in the Customer Center, by telephone on 0231/50 27 222 or at www.theaterdo.de.

The architecturally impressive building of the Academy for Theater and Digitality houses various research laboratories and studios. The largest hall, nine meters high, can be adapted to different requirements and offers an impressive setting for chamber concerts of all kinds.
The program features four musicians from four nations, who come together to form a musical unit and thus justify the title "melting pot". In addition to an early Mozart quartet, the 2nd string quartet by Benjamin Britten, which was composed in 1945 under the impression of the end of the Second World War, and the emotional string quartet by Edvard Grieg can be heard.

At the chamber concerts, not only the venue, but also the external setting should be something special. In a relaxed atmosphere, you can soak up the atmosphere of the venue from 6 pm. Tickets for the chamber concerts are only available in advance at the box office in the customer center, by telephone on 0231/50 27 222 or at www.theaterdo.de.
